My Biography | 4+ years of applied training in instructional systems. While working in educational programs and simultaneously receiving professional training in instructional design, has allowed for a unique opportunity to apply skills and knowledge learned towards addressing real world instructional and non-instructional needs at the systems level. After conducting systems, job-task, needs, and program analysis, the need for district-wide professional development in the areas of dropout prevention, and blended learning environments became a clear concern. Specifically, the primary focus was to design a learning platform for those alternative educational programs that utilize online courseware as its primary instructional tool. Most recently, while serving as an intern in Pinellas County School's PD Department, the primary objective was to improve credit recovery programs through the development of training materials that targeted administrators, teachers, and non-instructional staff members. After selecting the appropriate instructional tools for the district, the development of instructional and evaluative models were implemented to guide future trainings in the blended and online learning environments throughout the district. |
